The Hellenic Language
an inseparable part of Greek Heritage and Identity
Through the learning of the Hellenic language, our children learn to be proud of our Hellenic heritage and our people’s history. By mastering the Hellenic language, our children acquire an additional expertise towards their professional advancement in today’s global economy. At the Socrates School we teach not only the language, but also history, traditional dances, and poetry. The teaching takes place in a disciplined and joyful atmosphere. We try to cultivate the Hellenic soul of our children, thus making them the inheritors of the tradition of thousand of years and part of the great Hellenic world community.
We encourage all interested parents to consider their children’s future and enroll them in the Socrates Program.
Class Information
We are accepting students as young as five years of age and may offer adult classes as well if enough interest is gathered.
Tuition is 100% applied to teacher compensation. NOSTOS, Inc. covers teaching-related expenses, administrative costs, and other expenses.
Classes are held on most Saturdays in the auditorium of the Saint Sophia Greek Orthodox Cathedral in Miami, FL.
